Chickens

Learning Intention:we are learning to write a report about the life of a chickens.
Success Criteria: I know I am successful when I can write a report about chickens using adjetives.

 Chicken are a type of bird. It is also a poultry.

Their colours of their feathers are black,white and brown.They like to eat bugs and whatever they can find in the ground.Hens have two legs and bigger wings than the chicks.They have a wattle and a comb but smaller than a roosters comb.

Roosters like to crow.Their crowing wakes up animals and farmers.Their comb and wattle is long and big.It is also red.They eat corn kernels,seeds and vegetables.  

Chicks are yellow and small.They like to eat worms and bread that we give to them.Chicks are birds but very small and can not fly.They have two legs,with the colour orange and a pink beak.They are  so fluffy and soft.

Chickens are very noisey.

Success Criteria: I know I can do this when I can write instructions in order and use action words at the beginning of each sentence..

Steps:
1.Warm up: Running and Stuck in the mud. 
2.Grab one sticky belt. 

3.Grab two tags and stick it on to the sticky belt. 
4.Tie the sticky belt around your waist.

5.Split into two teams and grab the ball.

6.Rip off a tag from one of the other team. 

7.Grab the ball off one of the other team if you can.
8.Throw the ball to your team mates.
9.Side step them to win.
10.Score a goal for your team.

11.Take off the tags,belts and return everything when the game is over.

Trip to Botanic gardens

                         Botanic Gardens

Last Tuesday the whole school went to Botanic gardens.My friends and I Anamaria and Roneeza went to see the pretty and colourful flowers.The flowers were pink,purple,white and blue.Some of the flowers were big,tall and stinky.The flowers that I liked were the pink ones.

Afterwards we went to see some herbs.We tasted the herbs with Oliver it tasted bad.Then it was nearly lunch time before it was lunch time I took two herbs for my brother and mother.My brother and mother said it was disgusting.So I went to go eat my lunch.

After a while my friends and I were talking about plants.We were all happy to visit Botanic gardens.Eventually we caught the bus to school to go home.
