The seaside is a nice place to relax!



  • The Seaside is a beautiful location to relax and swim.
  • Even though the sea is calm, you can hear the gentle never-ending lapping of tiny waves swishing across the sand.
  • As you relax at the Seaside, you can smell the fishy air coming in from the fish caught in nets.
  • When you walk on the sand, you can feel the bumpy rocks rubbing underneath your feet.
  • When you swim in the deep blue sea, you can feel the extremely hot sun burning your skin.

  • The enormous fairytale castle looked magnificent with exciting decorations in the large magical halls.

  • They provide for the poor so they can have a better life. 
  • They are inspired by the Gospels, by the teachings of the Catholic church and by the hopes of people living in poverty. 
  •  Caritas means christian love of humankind. 
  • Caritas shares the mission of the Catholic church to serve the poor and promote charity. 
  • Caritas started with a nice man from Germany in 1897 and he wanted to serve the poor so he named the organization after a Latin word that means love and compassion.

The supermarket is as quiet and a library!


The supermarket aisles are all lined up parallel to each other. The healthy fruits and vegetable aisles smells fresh and natural. You can feel the chill as you walk down the frozen food aisle, so chilly that you could turn into a snowman. The supermarket is stinky and smelly from the combination of fresh and rotten fruit.

Saint Joseph inspired us by helping other people and spreading the Good News!


  • How Joseph was treated:
  • His brothers treated him with disrespect and with jealousy because his father bought him a rainbow coloured striped coat.
  • How does he inspire you?
  • I think Saint Joseph is a good role model for me to follow because he was brave enough to talk to the Pharaoh and he obeyed everything that God told him to do. 
  • What helped him become a Saint?
  • Listening to God and using the gift that God has given him. His gift was to read and understand dreams.
  • I think living as a saint is not easy because you have to try and do everything by God.
  • Joseph was born in Bethlehem.
  • Joseph died in Nazareth in Israel.
  • Joseph is a Roman.
  • Joseph’s siblings are Benjamin, Clopas,Simeon, Levi, Zebulun,Issachar, Dan, Gad, Asher, Naphtali Reuben and Judah.
  • Joseph’s parents are Jacob and Rachel.
Prayer:
God almighty, please help us to be honest, Hard working, kind and loving like Saint Joseph.
We ask this prayer through Jesus our brother and Mary our mother.

How do I show tika, pono and aroha?

Learning Intention: We are learning how to act with tika, pono and aroha.

   How to show Tika, Pono and Aroha  
1.In the playground:

2.In the classroom:

 I can show tika, pono and aroha when I obey and  respect the teacher. I will not shout at my friends. I will be faithful to them and spread the message of Jesus to my class mates.


3.At home :                     
I can show tika, pono and aroha by obeying my family and help with the dishes, clean the rooms, and control my emotions when situations make me angry.
